Description
Magellanic penguins (Spheniscus magellanicus) rescued off the coast of Rio de Janeiro are loaded onto the Brazilian Oceanographic Navy vessel "Ary Rongel" in Rio de Janeiro on October 7, 2008 to be freed in southern Brazil. Magellanic Penguins migrate annually in July from the Strait of Magellan to the north, toward the Argentinian and Uruguayan coasts.
