Barry Manilow has a big heart and enough cash to help out. This morning he launched the Manilow Music Project by giving over 300 instruments to 20 middle schools and high school music departments in the Palm Springs, Coachella Valley and Desert Sands Unified School Districts. Students from each school were present to help launch the delivery of the instruments. Then four trucks full of the gifts took off to deliver these instruments. One student was so keen to get close to Barry, that he left his dusty hand prints on Manilow's pants.
