epa01656058 Stonecutter Bernd Kuhne works on the memorial stone for the German zookeeper Thomas Doerflein in his workshop in Berlin, Germany, 05 March 2009. Doerflein, who had saved the life of polar bear 'Knut' by bringing him up with constant care, died of heart failure at the age of 44 in September 2008. The marble memorial stone in the shape of an iceberg is to be put up on Doerlein's grave in the graveyard 'In den Kisseln' in Spandau shortly. EPA/ARNO BURGI
