epa01687683 A body of a victim is brought to the mortuary of a local hospital in Quetta Pakistan on 04 April 2009, after more than 45 people apparently suffocated to death in a closed container found abandoned here in Hazar Ganj area on the outskirts of Quetta. Around 150 people were present in the container who were being taken to Iranian border illegally. Pakistan is regarded as a regional hub of human smuggling and trafficking operations where large number of people try to travel through Iran and Turkey to Europe in search of better jobs.
